When choosing the perfect desserts for your wedding consider offering a mixture of them all. Having a variety dessert table allows for macarons, cookies, cheesecakes, and cupcakes and still having the classic cut cake for the wedding couple.

It is ideal to have 1.5 to 2 items per person with regards to many desserts. Cookie and Bars could be cut in half to accommodate more flavors for a person.

Number of Guests
This is the first and most critical factor when choosing how many items are needed. Considering on average a guest will have up to two items while some might not have any is where the 1.5 to 2 items per guest is a solid way to estimate the dessert need for regular treats and the cake.

Cake Only
If you are being traditional and only having a Wedding Cake it is important to review what your cake slice portion will be.
